本日3月8日は国際女性デー。大切な方にミモザを贈ってみては?

Today March 8th is International Women's Day. Why not give a mimosa to someone you care about?

International Women's Day was established by the United Nations in 1975, originating from the 1904 protests in New York calling for women's suffrage. In Italy, it is called "Mimosa Day", and it seems that there is a custom to give mimosas to important partners, friends, colleagues, etc. with gratitude.

At THE GALLERY Sogetsu, flower materials have been newly added to the product lineup from last month!

We also have "Mimosa Acacia" , so why not give it to someone you care about, or to yourself who is working hard every day?

In Japan as well, "International Women's Day" is gradually spreading as a day to think about women's freedom, rights, and way of life. Don't internalize existing gender views, search for feelings and ideas that feel right for you, and cherish your own feelings of discomfort. Keeping our voices up while protecting our hearts from the words of those who don't care.

With Mimosa, I want to cherish the time to slowly think and face gender, women's rights and way of life.
