Kadensho

A collection of gems that Sofu talks about ikebana.

Sofu's famous line, now known to all Sogetsu people, is "Flowers are beautiful, but ikebana is not necessarily beautiful.
When flowers are arranged, they cease to be flowers. If you do, the flowers will become people. ” is the word in this Kadensho.
If you read it again when you're lost or worried, it's full of harsh warnings and gentle encouragement.
