The "taruki" (rafter) is assembled by screwing together three parts: the iron "otoshi" (base), the rafter itself, and an iron plate. The middle part is the wooden rafter, which is also the product's namesake.
Since it's made of wood, you can cut it with a saw to adjust its height, nail branches to it, remove the "otoshi" to use a bamboo base, and much more.

Note: This product will be shipped in three separate parts. Please assemble the parts upon receipt before use.
